Introduction

Project Expeditions is an Action RPG that blends dungeon-crawling with expansive open-world exploration, offering players a rich and immersive experience. Designed to challenge and engage, the game features dynamic environments, strategic combat encounters, and handcrafted levels that guide players through a world filled with secrets and adventure.

As a Level Designer, I played a key role in shaping the gameplay experience. My responsibilities included:

  • Crafting engaging levels that balance combat, exploration, and player progression.

  • Scripting interactive elements to enhance immersion and create dynamic encounters.

  • Designing and refining combat spaces to ensure engaging and strategic battles.

  • Blocking out and iterating on environments, ensuring smooth gameplay flow.

  • Lighting and level art integration, working closely with artists to enhance mood and visual storytelling.

My work on Project Expeditions was a mix of technical problem-solving and creative world-building, ensuring each area felt alive, purposeful, and rewarding to explore.
